Residential customers can establish new service in one of two ways—in person at our main office or online. Residential customers requiring service within 3 business days will need to come into the office in order to establish their account. Our offices are located at:

Commercial customers must establish service in person at our office.

New Service Requirements:

To establish new service, customers must complete an Application for Service and a Customer Service Inspection Form. Additionally, customers must provide a legible copy of their valid, government-issued ID and a copy of their lease agreement (if renting). The current deposit requirement is $200. Customers providing an acceptable Letter of Credit from another utility company may have $100 of the deposit requirement waived. An acceptable letter of credit is one that shows a minimum of 12 months of payment history with no more than 2 late payments and no non-payment disconnects during the most recent 12 month period. Customers may use another water utility, or an electric, gas, land-line phone, or cable utility for a Letter of Credit.

You can pay your water bill a number of ways.

By Web:

You can also sign up for automatic credit card draft via our website. (You will need to Register for Additional Services if you haven't already done so in order to sign up for credit card draft).

Drop Box:

Drop BoxA 24-hour payment drop box is located in the customer parking lot on the west side of the BWA main office located at 1121 Mercedes Street, Benbrook, Texas. Please pay with a check or money order, and include your payment coupon, to ensure proper credit. DO NOT PUT CASH IN THE DROP BOX.

In Person:

In personBring your payment, along with your payment coupon, to our main office located at 1121 Mercedes Street, Benbrook. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We accept cash, checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Effective April 20, 2012, we no longer accept American Express.

 

Bank Draft:

Bank DraftBank draft payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank account each month. To set up bank draft, simply login to the online account center and select "Setup or Change Automatic Bank Draft Payments" from the drop-down menu. (You will need to Register for Additional Services if you haven't already done so in order to sign up for bank draft). Alternatively, you can complete the Bank Draft Form, and mail it, along with a voided check, to: BWA Customer Service Department, 1121 Mercedes Street, Benbrook, TX 76126
