NEW SERVICE

Customers can establish new service in one of two ways—in person at our main office or online. Customers requiring service within 3 business days will need to come into the office in order to establish their account. Our offices are located at:

New Service Requirements:

To establish new service, customers must complete an Application for Service and a Customer Service Inspection Form. Additionally, customers must provide a legible copy of their valid, government-issued ID and a copy of their lease agreement (if renting). The current deposit requirement is $200. Customers providing an acceptable Letter of Credit from another utility company may have $100 of the deposit requirement waived. An acceptable letter of credit is one that shows a minimum of 12 months of payment history with no more than 2 late payments and no non-payment disconnects during the most recent 12 month period. Customers may use another water utility, or an electric, gas, land-line phone, or cable utility for a Letter of Credit.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

ACCOUNT

You can view account information including amount due, last payment date, payment history, and consumption history by logging into our online account center. You can also update account information such as phone numbers and email address.

 

Transfer Service

Existing BWA customers may transfer their water service to another address served by BWA by calling our office at 817-249-1250 during normal business hours. Service may overlap at both addresses for a maximum of 14 days. Customers needing service at both addresses for more than 14 days will be required to put up a second deposit at the new residence. The deposit will be based up the deposit requirements in effect at the time the second service account is requested.

Terminate Service

Customers may terminate their BWA water service by calling our office at 817-249-1250 during normal business hours. Customers will need to provide the date they need the service terminated as well as a forwarding address for the final bill.

Temporary Service

Temporary Service is service that last no longer than 48 hours and is available for residential properties only. The fee for temporary service is $25 and includes up to 400 cubic feet of water usage. Usage above 400 cubic feet will be billed to the customer at current water rates. Customers requesting temporary service must fill out a Service Application and a Customer Service Inspection Form and pay the $25 fee prior to service being started.
